GDP
Gross domestic product estimates economic output over a period. Preliminary figures can be revised and different growth presentations can look similar while measuring different horizons. Check whether a number is quarterly, annualized or year-on-year.
Example
A quarterly growth number should not be compared directly with an annual rate without conversion.
